Its properties make Ravemul O112 particularly suitable to prepare wood and paper adhesives. It is used in the forniture industry where adhesives are applied for bonding wood either with or without plastic laminates, in hot and cold conditions. Ravemul O112 can be used in the building sector to make parquet adhesives. Ravemul O112 is a homopolymer of vinylacetate with polyvinyl alcohol as dispersing system. It is characterized by low residual monomer and it allows to prepare adhesives with excellent tecnological properties and high setting time. Non-plasticized polyvinyl acetate aqueous dispersion with a polyvinyl alcohol emulsifying system. Possesses low content of residual monomer. Provides high setting time, very good mechanical stability and a pseudoplastic rheological behaviour. Used in adhesives formulations. Applications: adhesives for wood and paper; bonding wood either with or without plastic laminates in hot and cold conditions; building sector to make parquet adhesives.
