Ravemul O16 is particularly suitable for the manufacture of adhesives for wood and paper. It is used in the furniture industry where adhesives are applied for bonding wood, either with or without plastic laminates, in hot and cold conditions. It can be used in the building sector to make parquet adhesives, in bookbinding and, thanks to it’s quick setting time, in the packaging industry even when automatic machines for high speed production are used. Ravemul O16 is a homopolymer of vinylacetate with a polyvinyl alcohol dispersing system, charaterized by low residual monomer. Non-plasticized polyvinyl acetate aqueous dispersion with a polyvinyl alcohol emulsifying system. Possesses low content of residual monomer. Provides quick setting time, a very good mechanical stability and a pseudoplastic rheological behaviour. Used in adhesives formulations. Applications: adhesives for wood and paper; furniture industry where adhesives are applied for bonding wood, either with or without plastic laminates, in hot and cold conditions; building sector to make parquet adhesives; packaging industry and bookbinding.
