Vinavil EVA 201 Vinyl acetate ethylene copolymer Vinavil Ethylene copolymers - emulsions (VAE, EVC) >> Vinyl Acetate Ethylene copolymers, VAE ADHESIVE >> Water-based VINAVIL EVA 201 is an aqueous dispersion of a vinyl acetate - ethylene copolymer with 55% solid content. Adhesives used for bonding plastic foils to wood and fibre board. Adhesives used to bond plastic foils to absorbent substrates for automatic packaging, bookbinding, automatic lamination of paper and board with plastic and metal-foils. VINAVIL EVA 201 is a vinyl acetate - ethylene copolymer with a excellent adhesion to plastic materials. This makes it suitable for adhesives used for bonding plastic foils to wood and fiber board. Adhesives based an VINAVIL EVA 201 give good performances when used to bond plastic foil to paper or similar adsorbing substrates. VINAVIL EVA 201 shows a pseudoplastic rheological behaviour. This characteristic in addition to its goods compatibility with fillers, coalescing agents, solvents and plasticizers, makes VINAVIL EVA 201 particularly suitable for the manufacture of adhesives with a proper rheology and viscosity. The addition of coalescing agents and/or solvents and/or plasticizers leads to prompt, standing moderate increase in viscosity. VINAVIL EVA 201 shows an excellent compatibility with all the components usually employed in vinyl acetate ethylene cpolymer based aqueous adhesives such as: - cellulose and acrylic thickeners - plasticizers, such as phthalate and polymeric esters, chlorinated paraffin, triacetin, acetyl tributyl citrate, etc. Vinylacetate-ethylene copolymer with polyvinyl alcohol as emulsifying system. Possesses pseudo-plastic rheological properties and good compatibility with usually employed components in vinyl-ethylene copolymers based aqueous adhesives (acrylic and cellulosic thickeners, plasticizers, fillers...). Provides very good adhesion to plastic materials. Applications: bonding plastic foils to wood, fibreboard and absorbent substrates for automatic packaging, bookbinding, automatic lamination of paper and board with plastic and metal foils.
