Vinavil KA/R Polyvinyl acetate homopolymer Vinavil Polyvinyl acetate emulsions & derivatives (PVAc…) >> PVAc homopolymers ADHESIVE >> Water-based Vinavil KA/R is a non-plasticized polyvinyl acetate aqueous dispersion, with 50% solids content, containing polyvinyl alcohol as emulsifying system. Principal: - Wood adhesives - Paper and board adhesives Possible: - Textile finishings and wadding - Textile lamination Vinavil KA/R is a vinyl acetate homopolymer whose particle size distribution and macromolecular structure, allow a fast setting time and an excellent mechanical resistance even at high temperature too. These features make it particularly suitable for the manufacture of wood, paper and board adhesives. Wood adhesives: Adhesives based on Vinavil KA/R are ideal in furniture industry when applied for bonding wood, either with or without plastic laminates, in hot and cold conditions. Thanks to it’s quick initial setting time Vinavil KA/R can be used with high speed gluing machines. It can be used in the building sector to lay parquets. Paper adhesives Adhesives based on Vinavil KA/R (in general it is sufficient to add plasticizer) are used for bookbinding and thanks to it’s quick setting time is suitable in packaging industry with high speed automatic machines. Non-plasticized polyvinyl acetate aqueous dispersion with a polyvinyl alcohol emulsifying system. Possesses good particle size distribution and macromolecular structure. Provides fast setting time, very good mecanical resistance even at high temperature and a pseudoplastic rheological behaviour. Used in adhesives formulations. Applications: wood, paper and board adhesives; bonding wood either with or without plastic laminates in hot and cold conditions; building sector to lay parquets.
