Vinnapas CEF 10 W Vinyl acetate/ethylene/vinyl chloride terpolymer Wacker Ethylene copolymers - emulsions (VAE, EVC) ADHESIVE VINNAPAS® CEF 10 W is a fine-particle, aqueous dispersion of a vinyl acetate/vinyl chloride/ethylene terpolymer. Its high pigment binding capacity, good saponification resistance and good resistance to weathering make VINNAPAS® CEF 10 W ideal for use in emulsion paints containing opacifying pigments and synthetic-resin-modified plasters. VINNAPAS® CEF 10 W has good bonding properties for use in construction adhesives for gluing ceramic tiles or expanded polystyrene panels to absorbent substrates. In addition, the film is only slightly sensitive to greases, oils and solvents. Construction adhesives VINNAPAS® CEF 10 W is highly suitable for the manufacture of construction adhesives. For bonding foamed plastics, highly filled formulations can be used. In adhesives for tiles or PVC sheet, at least 20% binder should be used. To improve the water resistance of the adhesive bond, the VINNAPAS® CEF 10 W based construction adhesive can be modified with cement before use. With some formulations it may be necessary to add extra water. Compatibility with other polymer dispersions Fine-particle, aqueous dispersion of vinyl acetate/ethylene/vinyl chloride terpolymer. Contains surfactants as protective colloid / emulsifier and butyldiglykolacetat as plasticizer. Offers very good good filler and pigment compatibility, and compatibility with other polymer dispersions, high pigment binding capacity, good saponification resistance, good resistance to weathering, and good bonding roperties. Provides good water and alkali resistance, low sensitivity to greases, oils and solvents.
