It is particularly useful for modifying inorganic binders, such as cement, lime and gypsum in conjunction with granular aggregates. CEP 15 increases mechanical strength and significantly improves adhesion to the substrate. CEP 15-modified coatings and screeds are tough and resilient. This dispersion can also be successfully used in relatively thin screeds. It significantly improves abrasion resistance and inhibits cracking. VINNAPAS® CEP 15 contains antifoam agent in an amount sufficient for the recommended applications. A particular advantage of adding this dispersion is that it increases the density of mortars, reducing the penetration of water, oil and petroleum. Mortars modified with CEP 15, even if used in permanently damp conditions, still have comparable strength to conventional mortars under normal conditions.
