Vinnapas RE 5011 L Vinyl acetate/ethylene copolymer Wacker Ethylene copolymers - emulsions (VAE, EVC) >> Vinyl Acetate Ethylene copolymers, VAE ADHESIVE Vinnapas RE 5011 L is a water-redispersible vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer powder with good saponification resistance. Vinnapas RE 5011 L is particularly suitable for blending with inorganic binders, such as cement, an-hydrite, gypsum and hydrated lime for the production of troweling compounds, construction adhesives and repair mortars, or as sole binder in synthetic-resin-bound systems. Combined with casein or synthetic superplasticizers, Vinnapas® RE 5011 L is especially useful for the preparation of self-levelling flooring compounds and screeds. It results in extremely smooth surfaces which are free of craters. Vinnapasâ RE 5011 L improves adhesion, flexural strength, abrasion resistance and water retention, and, in the case of self-leveling floor smoothing com-pounds, flow. Vinnapas® RE 5011 L redispersible powder contains a fine, mineral filler as antiblocking agent. It does not contain any solvents, plasticizers or film-forming aids. Construction adhesives Vinnapas RE 5011 L is well suited for the preparation of all kinds of construction adhesives. It particularly improves adhesion, water retentivity, plasticity and workability of the adhesives. We recommend the addition of 2-6 % Vinnapas RE 5011 L. If adhesives with high plasticity even at very low tem-peratures (<0 °C) are required, we recommend the use of Vinnapas redispersible powders RE 5044 N and LL 5050. Vinnapas RE 5011 L is particularly suitable for for-mulating tile-adhesive mortars. We recommend the addition of 2-6 % Vinnapasâ RE 5011 L. Solvent-free, plasticizer-free, film-forming aid-free, water-redispersible vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer powder. Used for blending with inorganic binders, such as cement, anhydrite, gypsum and hydrated lime for the production of construction adhesives and in tile-adhesive mortar. Offers good saponification resistance. Improves adhesion, flexural strength, abrasion resistance, water retention, plasticity and workability of the adhesives. Contains a fine, mineral filler as antiblocking agent and polyvinyl alcohol as stabilizer. Use level: 2-6 %.
