Vinnapas RE 523 Z Vinyl acetate/ethylene copolymer Wacker Ethylene copolymers - emulsions (VAE, EVC) >> Vinyl Acetate Ethylene copolymers, VAE ADHESIVE Vinnapas® RE 523 Z is a vinyl acetate/ethylene co-polymer powder which redisperses readily in water and exhibits good resistance to saponification. Vinnapas® RE 523 Z is especially recommended for blending with inorganic binders such as cement, an-hydrite, gypsum and hydrated lime, or as a sole binder for floor and wall trowelling compounds, construction adhesives and repair mortars. In conjunction with casein or synthetic superplasticiz-ers, Vinnapas® RE 523 Z is particularly recom-mended for preparing self-levelling flooring com-pounds and screeds. It improves the adhesion, flexural strength, abrasion resistance, water retention, workability and, in the case of self-levelling flooring compounds, the flow properties of the products in which it is incorporated. Vinnapas® RE 523 Z contains a fine, mineral filler as anti-blocking agent. It does not contain any solvents, plasticizers or film-forming aids. Tile and construction adhesives Vinnapas® RE 523 Z is particularly suitable for pro-ducing all types of construction adhesives. Addition of this redispersible powder improves – in particular – the adhesive power, water retention, plasticity and workability of the adhesives. We recommend adding Vinnapas® RE 523 Z in a quantity of 2-6 %. Solvent-free, plasticizer-free, film-forming aid-free, redispersible in water, vinyl acetate/ethylene copolymer powder. Used as a sole binder for construction and tile adhesives. Shows good resistance to saponification. Improves adhesion, flexural strength, abrasion resistance, water retention, workability, and plasticity. Contains a fine, mineral filler as anti-blocking agent, and polyvinyl alcohol as stabilizer. Use level: 2-6 %.
