Vinnapas RE 525 Z Vinyl acetate/ethylene copolymer Wacker Ethylene copolymers - emulsions (VAE, EVC) >> Vinyl Acetate Ethylene copolymers, VAE ADHESIVE Vinnapas® RE 525 Z is a vinyl acetate/ethylene co-polymer powder which redisperses readily in water and exhibits good resistance to saponification. Vinnapas® RE 525 Z is used chiefly in mixtures with inorganic binders such as cement, anhydrite, gypsum and hydrated lime for the production of self-levelling flooring compounds, wall surfacers, construction ad-hesives and repair mortars, or as sole binder for syn-thetic- resin-bound systems. Combined with casein or synthetic plasticizers, Vinna-pas® RE 525 Z is especially useful for the preparation of self-levelling flooring compounds and screeds. It results in extremely smooth surfaces which are free of craters. Vinnapas® RE 525 Z improves adhesion, flexural strength, abrasion resistance, water retentivity and workability of the modified compounds, and, in the case of self-levelling compounds, also the flow prop-erties. Vinnapas® RE 525 Z redispersible powder contains a fine, mineral filler as antiblocking agent. It does not contain any solvents, plasticizers or film-forming aids. Vinnapas® RE 525 Z is well suited for the preparation of all kinds of construction adhesives. It particularly improves adhesion, water retentivity, plasticity and workability of the adhesives. We recommend adding 2 - 6 % redispersible powder. Solvent-free, plasticizer-free, film-forming aid-free, redispersible in water, vinyl acetate/ethylene copolymer powder. Used in mixtures with inorganic binders such as cement, anhydrite, gypsum and hydrated lime for the production of construction and tile adhesives. Improves adhesion, flexural strength, abrasion resistance, water retention, workability, and plasticity. Contains a fine, mineral filler as anti-blocking agent, and polyvinyl alcohol as stabilizer. Use level: 2-6 %.
