RMR 4 Rosin modified maleic resin Yunan Goake Chemical Tackifier >> Rosin >> Modified rosin ADHESIVE >> Hot-melt Rosin Modified Maleic Resin is made from Gum rosin that is adducted to the anhydromaleic, and then, to be esterified this compound by the Glycerol or Penta-erythrite. RMR can soluble in tar, ester, turpentine oil and similar solvents. Insoluble in alcoholic solvents, partially soluble in petroleum products, mix well with plant oils. It has characteristics for light color, high softening point, resistant to yellowing, good in heat resistant highly adhesive and so on. Having been smelt and polymerized with plant oils, RMR can be used in ester glue and phenolic resin paints. Adding the RMR in polyester, nitric paints and polyamide paints, it can improve the coating's hardness, refflection, sanding property and texture of the paints. It is used as gluer and connecter in the hot-smelt adhesives, paints of street signs and ink. Rosin modified maleic resin. Possesses light color, high softening point, high adhesiveness and good resistance to yellowing and heat. Used in ester glues and hot melt adhesives.
