The higher ACN levels have better chemical resistance but poorer low temperature properities. The lower ACN levels will have higher swell in oils and fuels, but improved low temperature flexibility. Excellent water resistance with very low metal corrosion. Very good building tack. FDA applications Nipol 1032 is a copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile with medium oil resistance. Nipol 1032 is also highly water resistant and non-corrosive to metal. Slightly lower Mooney grade of Nipol 1032. Butadiene and acrylonitrile copolymer. Possesses very good building tack. Provides medium oil resistance and very good water resistance with very low metal corrosion. Used in adhesives.
