The higher ACN levels have better chemical resistance but poorer low temperature properities. The lower ACN levels will have higher swell in oils and fuels, but improved low temperature flexibility. Precrosslinked to give low die swell and nerve to extruded goods. May be blended with other polymers to improve extrusion. Nipol 1042X82 is a copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile with medium oil resistance. Precrosslinked butadiene and acrylonitrile copolymer. Provides medium oil resistance, low die swell and nerve to extruded goods. Used in adhesives.
