The higher ACN levels have better chemical resistance but poorer low temperature properities. The lower ACN levels will have higher swell in oils and fuels, but improved low temperature flexibility. Medium viscosity/medium resistance to fuels and oils. General purpose for stocks needing good flow and fast cure. Recommended for compression and transfer molding, and sponge applications. Low water swell. Nipol N615B is a cold polymerized, butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer. Sufficient nonstaining antioxidant is added during manufacture for normal storage conditions. This polymer combines superior physical properties and solvent resistance for use in transfer molded goods, as well as industrial and automotive applications. Butadiene and acrylonitrile cold polymerized copolymer. Possesses medium mooney viscosity. Provides low water swell, medium resistance to fuels and oils, very good physical properties and solvent resistance, good flow and fast cure. Used in adhesives for industrial and automotive applications.
