The higher ACN levels have better chemical resistance but poorer low temperature properities. The lower ACN levels will have higher swell in oils and fuels, but improved low temperature flexibility. Medium viscosity/medium-low resistance to fuels and oils. Transfer and compression molded goods, hose requiring good balance of oil and fuel resistance with +125°C to -40°C service. Low water swell. Nipol N715B is a cold polymerized, butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer. This general purpose polymer is well used for industrial and automotive hoses and seals, printing rolls, and other applications requiring easy processing. Butadiene and acrylonitrile cold polymerized copolymer. Possesses medium mooney viscosity. Provides low water swell, medium-low resistance to fuels and oils, easy processing, good balance of oil and fuel resistance. Used in adhesives for industrial and automotive applications.
