Ziegler-Natta catalyst
Compound containing a metal-carbon bond that can be used to make highly
ordered, high density polymers by a chain-growth mechanism. The Ziegler-Natta
heterogeneous catalytic systems are extensively used to polymerize ethylene and
propylene to their homo- and copolymers.
