Bridgewater, N.J. -- The Elotex ® business unit
of National Starch and Chemical Company has announced that, effective
Feb. 7, 2005, Canada Colors and Chemicals will become the exclusive distributor
for its line of redispersible polymer powders in Canada.
Headquartered in Don Mills, Ontario, Canada Colors and
Chemicals is the largest independent chemical distributor in Canada and
has facilities located strategically throughout the country. This, coupled
with its knowledge of the construction market, will enable Canada Colors
and Chemicals to provide a superior level of service to Elotex customers,
according to Joe Palmer, Business Director, Elotex Americas.
Elotex is a global manufacturer of redispersible powders
and specialty additives used in construction.
Elotex is a unit of National Starch and Chemical Company,
which had sales of $3.05 billion in 2003. National Starch, a worldwide
manufacturer of adhesives, specialty polymers, electronic materials and
natural polymers, is headquartered in Bridgewater, N.J., and is a member
of the ICI Group.
