Arkema is taking part from June 13th to 15th in INTERSOLAR 2012, one of the most important international tradefair devoted to solar technologies.
Arkema will exhibit its portfolio intented for PV panels manufacturers. The lifetime of solar panels spans 20 to 30 years. Therefore the solar panel's components have to deliver long-lasting top performances. A challenge taken up successfully by Arkema thanks to its polymers: Kynar® PVDF film, a key element in the design of the panel's backsheet and Evatane® EVA used for cells encapsulation.
To complement its EVA offer, Arkema developed specific organic peroxide grades allowing to speed up the curing of EVA used for the encapsulation and hence increase the production of PV panels.
Arkema has also recently developed Apolhya® Solar, a nanostructured thermoplastic for new-generation "thin layer" panels.
Arkema will be showcasing these products at its booth 450 / Hall A6.
