BASF to Hike Isophorone Diamine Prices Globally

BASF is raising global its prices for isophorone diamine (IPDA) by €150 per metric ton, or by the corresponding amount in local currency, effective immediately or as existing contracts permit.

The IPDA specialty amine is valued as a curing agent for epoxy resins and as an isocyanate crosslinking agent for the production of polyurethane. BASF manufactures IPDA at its Ludwigshafen Verbund site and is one of the leading supplier of this product.
