Epoxyset Unveils EB-112LC, a Halogen free Epoxy System

SpecialChem - Jun 25, 2012

EPOXIBOND-112LC is a two component, halogen free, epoxy system with outstanding resistance to a variety of chemicals including gasoline, fuels, oils, alcohols, ethyl acetates, toluene, as well as a wide number of other organic and inorganic solvents. In addition to its ability to withstand chemical immersions, this low viscosity system has excellent mechanical properties including high tensile strengths, compressive strengths, and shear strengths. EB-112LC can cure in as little as 1 hour at moderate temperatures. Specially designed as a halogen free epoxy system, EB-112LC has low ionic impurities, especially chlorine.

EB-112LC is 100% reactive and contains no solvents or diluents. Its linear shrinkage upon cure is very low-less than 0.1% inches/inch and has a refractive index of 1.55. Its service temperature range is -55°C to +250°C. This system adheres well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, glass, ceramics, rubbers and many plastics.
