Ethylene acrylates (EMA, EBA, 2EHA)
| Ethylene acrylic ester copolymers can be divided into
3 product families according to the type of acrylic derivative: butyl
acrylate (EBA copolymer), methyl acrylate (EMA copolymer)or 2 Ethyl Hexyl
Acrylate (2HEA).
These qualities make them suitable for many applications:
including HMA or HMPSA in packaging
or disposables
for example.
Structure of random Ethylene - Acrylic Ester copolymers:

Acrylic ester decreases the crystallinity of the polymer,
which in turn widens the operating window of the adhesive.
