Low temperature resistance
 |
For applications such as Ice creams
or frozen food packaging, hot-melts have to maintain high level
of adhesion and flexibility at -40°C which is known as a good
"deep-freeze" resistance. The flexibilty of an ethylene
copolymer based hot-melt is highly linked to its glass transition
temperature (Tg). The lowest is this Tg, the best would be the deep-freeze
performances. |

(See also : HMA
for packaging application)
For this type of application high copolymer content an EVA and an EBA products are highly recommended.
