Hot-Melts for Non Wovens

BASF Polyvinylpyrrolidone - Luvitec
non wovens polyvinylpyrrolidone
Wetness indicators are increasingly used in diapers to help with visual check. Adding Luvitec® VA 64 to hot-melts used for diapers assembly has become a real asset in this field due to its capabilty to carry the water to the wetness indicator.

When the diaper gets wet, Luvitec® VA 64 carries the humidity to the wetness indicator which changes in color, showing that the diapner needs to be replaced. As it is biocompatible and non toxic, Luvitec® VA 64 is perfectly suited for body contact.

Luvitec® also provides reversible adhesion, helping with the desagregation of the assembly in water and making the end-product easier to recycle.
