Sealants

Styrene-ethylene-butene-styrene (SEBS) block copolymers are known to be useful for sealants because of their combination of strength and elastomeric properties. They are a cost-effective alternative to acrylic and silicone sealants. A range of takifying resins will allow to customize properties of SEBS block copolymers for:   Good adhesion to multiple substrates Transparency with good UV stability Improved mechanical performance Cost effectiveness Specialty resins can be used in sealants for construction and DIY to respond to formulators requirements: Solvent borne sealants when hotmelt application equipment is not available Hotmelt sealants if application speed is a must-have  and a hotmelt dispensing equipment is available Transparent sealants can be used in applications where they can provide improved aesthetics.
